William T. Shaw , 70, of Greensburg, died Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2017, in Hempfield Manor. He was born Sept. 21, 1947, in Greensburg, a son of the late William and Irene Blanda Shaw. Bill retired after almost 36 years as a Chief Master Sergeant in the Air Force as a chief boom operator with the 927th ARW. Bill started out his military career serving during the Vietnam War. He also served as a loadmaster with the 305th ARRS. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carol A. Frank Shaw. He is survived by his two stepsons, Steven DiBerardine (Becky), of Berkley, Mich., and Gary DiBerardine (Tracey), of Crabtree; two grandchildren, Mason and Gabriella; his brother, David A. Shaw, of North Carolina; his sister, Judy Shaw, of Youngwood; a nephew, Michael Shaw; and several other nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Bill from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC. 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, 724-837-0020. Parting prayers will be held at 9:15 a.m. Monday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. in the St. Bartholomew Church, Crabtree, with Father Justin Matro, OSB, celebrating.
