Veronica Fennell

Veronica A. (Strycula) Fennell , 73, of Greensburg, died Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2020. She was born Aug. 26, 1947, in Springdale, a daughter of the late Carl and Helen Fedorish Strycula. Ronnie was an avid golfer and was proud to have been able to say that she made par on the signature No. 7 hole at Pebble Beach on her 65th birthday. She loved animals and supported many animal causes and was an active member of St. Michael Orthodox Church. She was a retired psychologist for Westmoreland Case Management and Support. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Fennell. She is survived by her son, Eric J. Fennell; brother, Eugene Strycula (Jean), of Plum Borough; niece, Vicki Walters (Dean), of Greensburg; nephew, Neil Bowman, of Boston, Mass.; and several extended nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Ronnie from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday in St. Michael's Antiochian Orthodox Christian Church, 1182 Ashland St., Greensburg, PA 15601. A funeral service will follow at 10 a.m. with Archpriest John Nosal celebrating. Keeping with CDC guidelines, those attending the viewing and funeral are required to wear face masks. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg.  The family would like to offer a sincere thank you and their deepest appreciation to the wonderful and caring staff at Excela Health Latrobe.   In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Action for Animals, P.O.
