Twyla Y. Marckioni

Twyla Y. (King) Marckioni, 87, of Greensburg, died Monday, January 27, 2025, in the Waldens View Senior Living. She was born April 01, 1937, in Avonmore, a daughter of the late Alton E. King and Caroline G. McBryar Smeltzer. Twyla had a love for animals, books and playing bingo. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank J. Marckioni and all of her siblings, Eugene King, Bertha Sutton, Brenda Fennell and Lucille Cadamore.   She is survived by her daughter, Carrie VanDine of North Huntingdon; her son, Frank Marckioni, Jr. (Eileen) of Cranbury, NJ; her three grandchildren, Christopher VanDine (Allison), Jonathon VanDine (Chelsea) and Lucia Marckioni; two great grandsons, Xavier and Colin VanDine; her three 'granddogs', Slippers, Harley and Lux and several nieces and nephews. At the family’s request, all services were private. Entombment was in St. Clair Cemetery Mausoleum, Greensburg. The family would like to thank a special caregiver, Patsy Silvis, for her compassion and kindness to their mother. It did not go unnoticed.
