Trina A. Benko

Trina Dianna (Anderson) Benko, 82, of Greensburg, died Monday, November 11, 2024, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital surrounded by family. She was born on October 7, 1942, in Waynesburg, Pa, daughter of the late Gerald and Bessie (Renner) Anderson. Trina had a strong faith and frequently attended mass at Holy Cross Church in Youngwood, Pa. She worked at Mellon Bank, Gymboree, Kenten Carbide, Talbots, and finally at Redstone Highlands as their receptionist. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Paige McClain, and granddaughter, Samantha Rudzinski. She is survived by her four daughters, Jennifer Rudzinski and husband David, Gretchen Mruk and husband David, Rachel Hoffner and husband James and Sharon Todaro and husband Paul; twelve grandchildren, Megan, Leah, Douglas, Kaitlin, Adam, Emma Rose, Sarah, Olivia, Nicholas, Amelia, Annabel, and Haydn; great-granddaughter Marley, loving companion Steve Thomas and several nieces and nephews. She enjoyed traveling, especially to the beach, eating oysters at The Nest, spending time with friends and shopping at Talbots; but above all, she treasured time with family, most importantly her grandchildren. Trina dedicated her time to travel near and far to be with her grandchildren to attend special events, spend quality time and make memories with them. Relatives and friends of Trina will be received Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 2-4 and 6- 8 p.m. in the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc., 409 W. Pittsburgh Street, Greensburg, PA 15601, (724) 837-0020. Trina embraced life and encouraged funeral attire to be vibrant. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday November 15, 2024, in the Pantalone Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Twin Valley Memorial Park in Delmont. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Trina’s memory may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation (T2T.org).
