Terrence E. Plischke, 79, of Greensburg, died Tuesday, April 23, 2024 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born January 14, 1945, in Greensburg, a son of the late Charles and Ruth Lopes Plischke. Prior to Terry's retirement he taught for 37 years in the Norwin School District. After retirement from Norwin, Terry worked for the Pantalone Funeral Home for 13 years. He was a lifetime member of the Harrold Zion Lutheran Church, and a member of the 49ers Athletic Club, PSEA and NEA. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Joanne Grosso Plischke, sister, Jane Penich and brother-in-law, Dale Preston. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 42 years, Barbara Green Plischke; a son, Jeffrey of Danville; two daughters, Christine Fennell and husband Jeffrey of Ardara, and Tracey Lee Sherburn and husband Rick of Tennessee; sisters, Charlene Wudrick and husband Arnie of Saskatchewan Canada, Karen Preston of Greensburg and Lauren Davis and husband Tom of Derry; and numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Terry, Friday from 4 to 6 p.m., in the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc. 409 W. Pittsburgh Street, Greensburg, PA 15601, (724) 837-0020. Additional viewing will be held on Saturday in the Harrold Zion Lutheran Church, 671 Baltzer Meyer Pike, Greensburg, PA 15601 from 10 a.m. to 11a.m., the time of services with Rev. Caroline Clifford, officiating. Interment will follow in Harrold Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Greensburg. The family would like to thank the Excela Hospice nurses and aides for their loving care to Terry in his last days.
