Susan Cummings

Susan M. Cummings , 75, of Greensburg, died Sunday, April 23, 2023. She was born Feb. 25, 1948, in Syracuse, N.Y., a daughter of the late Paul and Matilda Thomas Cummings. Susan was a graduate of Seton Hill College and worked for the Greensburg Salem School District, teaching elementary art until she retired. She was also a member of Blessed Sacrament Cathedral and volunteered her time with the Saint Vincent de Paul Society and the Food Pantry. She loved using her artistic ability by helping with set design for the Saint Vincent Summer Theater where she was one of the founding members. Susan had a love of dogs, and she enjoyed dogsitting for her friends who went on vacation or were recovering from an illness. She is survived by several cousins, friends and Godchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Susan's funeral Mass to be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday in Blessed Sacrament Cathedral. Interment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.
