Stephen Mather Noviello was gathered into the loving embrace of his mother, Susan Mather Noviello, on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2017. Stephen was a graduate of Penn State University in hotel and restaurant management. His love and enjoyment for the food business began at an early age, helping his family operate a Manhattan Bagel business in State College. He continued in the food service industry throughout his life. At one point, he and his brother owned their own roadside barbecue business in Bellefonte. Stephen was a kind, gentle person. A heart open to anyone. His joy for life was evident, his smile never ending. So many of his friends have reached out to tell me of the importance Stephen brought to their lives. The love of his life was his daughter, Zoey. They were truly inseparable. Doing dishes, she was at the sink with him, in the grocery cart, shopping, they were always with each other. During their short time with each other, Stephen was, as Zoey would say, "My Daddy." Stephen leaves a beautiful daughter, Zoey, and companion, Kiya Britt, of State College; his father, Jerry Noviello, and a brother, Jerry Thomas Noviello (Bethany), all of Olympia, Wash.; and his aunts, uncles and cousins who were a part of his extended family. There will be no public viewing. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Stephen at his funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday in Our Lady of Grace Church, Greensburg. Prior to the Mass, a gathering for friends and family will be held in the church beginning at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Ligonier Valley Cemetery, where Stephen will be laid to rest with his mother. Stephen's family has entrusted his care to CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601.
