Shirley A. Hudson

Shirley A (McCune) Hudson, 86, of Greensburg, died Friday, March 08, 2024 in UPMC Passavant Hospital, Pittsburgh surrounded by her family. She was born May 13, 1937, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Leonard Carl and Mary Zelma Martz McCune. Shirley loved helping others and enjoyed volunteering throughout the years for the Hospitality Shop in Westmoreland Hospital, the Westmoreland Manor and for the West Point Fire Department where her late husband served and was a founding member. Shirley also enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Penguins and Pirates, gardening, and playing games and cards with family and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, James P. Hudson, Jr. and three brothers, Samuel E., James E., and William C. McCune. She is survived by her two children, Carla A. Flores (Lou) of Allison Park, and Gregory J. Hudson (Jana) of Greensburg; four grandchildren, Dominic, Luke, Ella, and Charlene; three sister -in- laws, fourteen nieces and nephews, and numerous great nieces and nephews. A private memorial will be held to honor Shirley and her wishes at the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc. 409 W.
