Shirley A. Fonner

Shirley A. (Shipley) Fonner, 88, of Greensburg, died Monday, April 29, 2024 in the Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital.  She was born April 14, 1936, in Connellsville, a daughter of the late Marie Shipley. In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Frank R. Hiles, second husband, John N. Fonner, Sr., and siblings, Gerald, Earl, Kenny and Tiny. She is survived by her three sons, Ronnie Hiles, Donald Hiles, and Rod Hiles and wife Maria; seven grandchildren, Ronnie, Bonnie, Shanna, Charla, Dana, Cassidy, and Cheyenne; and numerous great grandchildren.  There will be no public visitation or services. Shirley’s family has entrusted her care to the Pantalone Funeral Home Inc., Greensburg.  For online condolences / directions, visit us at pantalone.com.
