Samuel P. Frank , 94, of Greensburg, died Tuesday, June 19, 2018, at home. He was born Oct. 29, 1923, in Luxor, a son of the late Anthony and Concetta Donfrio Frank. Sam was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral. He enjoyed riding quads, gardening, golfing and dancing. In his younger years, he had his pilot license as well. Sam a truck driver for Ashland Oil and also a former fire chief of Luxor and an auxiliary policeman for Westmoreland County. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son, Jan Allen Frank; a daughter-in-law, Sandy Frank; and several siblings. He is survived by his two sons, Larry A. Frank and David S. Frank; his daughter-in-law, Lisa Bierer, all of Greensburg; four grandchildren, Jessica Frank (Anthony Avvampato), David Frank (Julie Peoples) Leanna Frank and Larry Frank; a great-granddaughter, Ivy Jane Frank; and numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Sam from 6:30 to 8 p.m., the time of his funeral service, Thursday, in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, 724-837-0020. Interment will be in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.
