Robert K. Walker, 54, of Derry, died Wednesday, November 06, 2024, peacefully at his home. He was born December 04, 1969, in Greensburg, a son of Terry Walker and the late Christine Vincent Walker. Rob was a 1988 graduate of Hempfield High School and worked for many years as a CNC Machinist at PACE Industries. During his time in the military, he received a national defense medal, a sea service deployment ribbon, a good conduct medal, and the marksmanship badge. Rob remained a dedicated Marine throughout his life, living by the Marine community phrase “Once a Marine, always a Marine.” Rob, a family-oriented man was adamant about how much family meant to him and bragged often about them. Rob affectionately called her “Reacher.” Rob is survived by his father, Terry and wife Jean of Sun City Center, FL; brother, Matthew Walker of Pittsburgh; sister, Mary (Katie) Walker of Boswell; cherished friend, Wanda Cardona and her sons Raffael, Christopher and Ricardo of Milford, PA whom Rob considered sons.
