Robert N. Lumberger, 75, of Crabtree, died Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. Born April 25, 1940, in Bovard, he was a son of the late James and Pauline Elizabeth Taylor Lumberger. He retired from Nuclear Components Co., Adamsburg, and was a member of First Antioch Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Carlotta Perry; and two brothers, James Lumberger Jr. and Michael Lumberger. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Terry Jarabeck Lumberger; three children, Charise Hainesworth, of Greensburg, Robert Lumberger Jr. and fiancee, Hope Nichols, of Crabtree, and Lisa Lumberger, of Richmond, Va.; eight grandchildren, Candace (Jermaine) Barren-Williams, Johnathan Lumberger, Ashley (Troy) Banner, Desiree Hollen, Danielle Brown, Britney Lumberger, Charise Lumberger and Samantha Hollen; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Marjorie Hipps, of Media, and Carolyn (Danny) Discenzo, of Braddock; a devoted niece, Kelli Perry, of Coral Springs, Fla.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Robert from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, 724-837-0020. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Greater Parkview Church, 103 Westminster Ave., Greensburg, 724-219-3280, with Bishop Carl E. Jones Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in New Alexandria Union Cemetery.
