Richard Leonard

Richard E. Leonard , 68, of Greensburg, died Monday, July 26, 2021 after a hard fought and very brave battle with cancer.  He was born September 23, 1952, in Greensburg, a son of the late Walter Earl and Gilda V. Mazzagatti Leonard.  He was a graduate of Grand River Academy and attended St. Vincent College.  Prior to retiring from Bosch Tools, Rich was involved in many businesses.  Among them were The Ski Door in New Stanton, Leonard Bros. Builders and Allegheny Bottled Water.  He was an avid reader, jack of all trades, loved Austin Healeys, model trains, antique wooden boats, golfing with his buddies and shooting sporting clays with his wife and friends.  He was generous with his time, kind and loved a political conversation.  Rich could not imagine life without a dog.  He was a member of the Antique and Classic Boat Society, Greensburg Country Club, Keystone Ramblers, Arona Golf League and West Penn Sportsmen.  Every day spent with you was a precious gift.~Karen.  He was welcomed into Heaven by his parents, brother, Francis; in-laws, Andrew and Connie Kashurba; and countless friends, family and canine companions.  He is survived by his wife, Karen Kashurba Leonard; brothers, Walter Leonard (Amy) of MD and  Michael Leonard (Becky) of GA; brother-in-law, Kenneth Kashurba of Greensburg; sisters-in-law Lee Leonard of SD and Kathleen Kashurba of Greensburg; several nieces and nephews; and his dog, Sherman.  Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Rich, Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc. 409 W.
