Richard P. Iezzi , 90, of Greensburg, died Saturday, May 22, 2021. He was born April 11, 1931, in Greensburg, son of the late John and Helen Grifana Iezzi. Richard was a born salesman and avid golfer. In his younger years, he worked for RCA and Columbia Records and enjoyed meeting many celebrities. He was a Medic during the Korean Conflict having served in the Army. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his second wife, L. Erlene Iezzi. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of six years, Theresa F. Lewis; children, Richelle Thompson (Dana) and Sandra Delancey (William), all of New Kensington, Bonita LaBoon, of Holly Hill, S.C. and Melissa Romanelli (Vincent), of Plum Boro; and their mother, Bonita (Gettemy) Iezzi, of Pittsburgh; Susan Gamble (Lindsey), of Ohio, John Lewis (Hagit), of California, and James Lewis (Gigi), of Texas; six grandchildren, Devon Goetze (Edward), Jesse Wampler (Lori), Sarah Becker (William), Dana Thompson, III (Mary), Kyle Delancey (Natasha) and Dr. Kaitlyn Delancey (Jason); eight step grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, Austin, Allison, Natalie and Henry Goetze and John and Ava Thompson; three brothers, Dr. Anthony Iezzi (Rita) of Rocky River, Ohio, John Iezzi (Becky), of Richmond, Va., and Carl Iezzi (Lynn), of Munhall; and seven nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Richard, Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc. 409 W. Pittsburgh Street, Greensburg, PA 15601, (724) 837-0020. Parting prayers will be held in the funeral home Thursday at 10:00 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., in Holy Cross Church, Youngwood with Fr. William C. McGuirk, officiating. Interment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery. Please be prepared to adhere to all current CDC guidelines.
