Patricia A. (Stenger) Cepullio, 83, of Greensburg, died Monday, July 08, 2024 at her daughter’s home in Pittsburgh. She was born August 19, 1940, in McKeesport, a daughter of the late Charles Stenger and Evelyn Bardnell Stenger DiLernia. Patricia graduated from the former North Huntingdon High School in 1958 and then completed her schooling at McKeesport School of Nursing in 1961. She worked in the Pediatric Department of both McKeesport Hospital and Westmoreland Regional Hospital and later in her life worked with her dear friend, Dr. Martin Murcek as his office nurse. She was an active member of Our Lady of Grace Church. She enjoyed watching her granddaughters participate in their sporting events. One of her most favorite things was baking with them throughout the years. To Boppie’s delight, at a very young age, Brooke would raid the pantry to make her famous “egg soulee”. Recently, the joy of baking inspired Madison to create “Boppie’s Biscotti” with the original recipe as a tribute to her grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank J. Cepullio on February 11, 1994; and some very favorite people that impacted her life, maternal grandmother, Mary Bardnell, paternal grandmother, Philamena Stenger; and several caring aunts and uncles. She is survived by her two lovely daughters, Christine M. Cepullio of Wilkins Township and Annette M. Mastro (Gregory) of Inman, SC; two granddaughters, who were the light of her life and who they affectionately called her 'Bop', Madison A. and Brooke E. Mastro; and several special cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Patricia, Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc. 409 W. Pittsburgh Street, Greensburg, PA 15601, (724) 837-0020. Prayers of transfer will be said in the funeral home Thursday at 11 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. in the Our Lady of Grace Church. Entombment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum. The family would like to thank the staff of UPMC Family Hospice for the care and support that they gave their mother. Patricia’s family has entrusted her care to the Pantalone Funeral Home Inc., Greensburg. For online condolences / directions, visit us at pantalone.com. Natale N. Pantalone, supervisor.
