Natalie (Brivchik) Summers , 76, of Greensburg, lost her fight to cancer but won the battle as she ascends to heaven to join her maker, family and friends Monday, March 20, 2017, in the Greensburg Care Center. She was born April 12, 1940, in Duquesne, a daughter of the late Walter and Julia Brivchik. She was a member of St. Michael's Orthodox Church. Natalie liked to cook and bake and her occasional trips to the casinos, but most of all she loved to spend time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, James W. Summers Jr.; two brothers, John and Bernard Brivchik; and a sister, Olga Daily. She is survived by her three children, John Summers (Karen), of Dayton, Ohio, Jack Summers (Beth Silvis), of South Greensburg, and Kathy Pacelli (Bob Labor), of Mamont; her seven grandchildren, whom she admired and adored, Joseph, Christa, Crystal, Jordan, Shannon, Shawn and Ryan; her seven precious great-grandchildren, Aleah, Brayden, Joseph, Natalia, Liliana, Nora and Gemma; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Regina Edelen. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Natalie from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, 724-837-0020. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home with Archpriest John Nosal, officiating. Interment will follow in McKeesport and Versailles Cemetery, McKeesport. Natalie's family would like to thank the staff of Greensburg Care Center for their care and compassion as well as Grane Hospice for their care and support.
