Nancy A. Salvio

Nancy A. (Budesky) Salvio, 87, of Greensburg, died Thursday, October 24, 2024, at home. She was born on October 04, 1937, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Stephen and Julia Ultis Budesky. She was a 1955 graduate of Greensburg Salem High School. Prior to her retirement in 1985, she was a maternity nurse at Westmoreland Hospital for many years, Nancy will be remembered as a kind soul, who always put others before herself. She was an avid reader, always taking time to cut out and give articles to friends and family, who she thought would be interested. She also was very lucky, along with Bennie, they won numerous sweepstakes. One of her favorite memories was a trip Bennie won to Tahiti where they made lifelong memories and friends who kept in touch throughout the years. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie B. Salvio, Jr. in 2019; a brother, Steve Budesky; and a dear sister, Hazel Budesky. She is survived by her two sons, Michael Salvio (Carla) of Ocean City, MD and Kevin Salvio (Kathy) of Allison Park; granddaughter, Karly Bolon (Ken) of Hebron, MD; two great grandsons, Kyle Benjamin and Keegan James; and numerous friends and cousins in Detroit, MI.
