Mother Carrietta Berger , of Greensburg, transitioned from her earthly home to a heavenly dwelling place Sunday, Dec. 11, 2016. Mother Berger was born March 1, 1930, in Monessen, to the late Harry and Evangelist Ruth Tucker. She was preceded in death by her husband of more than 40 years, Elder David Allen Berger Jr.; one son, Robert Charles Berger; twin brother and sister, Rebecca Jennings and Issac Tucker; one brother, Harry Tucker; and two sisters, Louise Tucker and Nathlin Moseley. Mother Berger leaves to cherish many fond memories five children, Michael Berger, of Greenbelt, Md., David Berger III, of Mays Landing, N.J., Patricia Harris (Burt), of Greensburg, Darlene Primas, of Greensboro, N.C., and Diane Hackley (Bruce), of Fort Wayne, Ind.; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Minnie Williams, of Detroit, Mich.; one brother-in-law, James Berger (Caroline) and one sister-in-law, Delores Berger, both of Greensburg; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Mother Berger from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, 2016, in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, 724-837-0020. A homegoing service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 16, 2016, at First Unity Church of God In Christ, 1500 Penn Ave., Jeannette. Interment will follow at Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg, with Elder Melvin Brown, officiating.
