Minnie Poole

Minnie C. (Croushore) Poole , 88, of Greensburg, died Wednesday, March 22, 2017, in the Westmoreland Manor. She was born April 6, 1928, in Grapeville, a daughter of the late James Edwin and Theresa Rushman Croushore. Minnie retired from Oakhill Nursing Home in 1993 as a registered nurse and was a volunteer at the YWCA Thrift Shop. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell W. Poole; a grandson, Robert Russell Poole; four sisters, Margaret Croushore, Dorothy Sarver, Alice Kealey and Marcella Gray; three brothers, Nicholas, James (Edwin) and Louis Croushore; and a son-in-law, Lynn Waugaman. She is survived by four children, Russell J. Poole (Denise), of Jeannette, Gary A. Poole (Pam), of Connellsville, Deborah Waugaman, of Scotia, N.Y., and Wendy L. Poole (Heather Allison); nine grandchildren, Daniel (Carrie), Adam (Tess Nina) and Joshua (fiancee, Samantha Mutich) Poole, David, Scott (Courtney) and Amber Waugaman, Aubrey Corbin (Scott), Jessica Harr (Shawn) and Zackary Poole; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Minnie from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, 724-837-0020. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Pantalone Funeral Home, with Pastor Jerry Nuernberger, officiating. Interment will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg.
