Mary Jane Givogri

Mary Jane Givogri , 83, of Crabtree, died Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021. She was born Sept. 22, 1938, in Crabtree, a daughter of the late George and Margaret Ann Ribar Karazsia. Mary Jane was a faithful member of the St. Bartholomew Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and after retiring as a telephone operator from the former Bell Telephone and Verizon, she worked in retail at several of the stores in Westmoreland Mall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph B. Givogri; and her son, Mark J. Givogri; and a brother, Robert Karazsia. She is survived by her four brothers, George Karazsia (Sue), of Crabtree, John Karazsia (Connie), of Florida, William Karazsia (Kathy), of Washington Township and Thomas Karazsia (Mary), of Greensburg; sister-in-law, Nancy Karazsia; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. There were no public viewing or services.  A funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Bartholomew Church, Crabtree.  Interment followed in Calvary Hill Cemetery, Crabtree.  The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at the William Penn Care Center and Bethany Hospice for their loving and compassionate care of Mary Jane.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Bartholomew Church for Masses, 2538 State Route 119 Crabtree, PA 15624.  Mary Jane’s family has entrusted her care to the Clement L.
