Mary J. (Panetti) Parise, 96, of Monroe Township, N.J., formerely of South Greensburg, died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2015, at her daughter's home in New Jersey. She was born April 2, 1919, in Lilly, a daughter of the late Angelo and Adeline Masissi Panetti. She was the co-owner of the former Danny's Pizza House in South Greensburg and prior to moving to her daughter's home, she was a member of St. Paul's Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel W. Parise; five sisters, Louise Haman, Jane Jordan, Carolyn Moffe, Antoinette Mari and Augie Plevelich; and two brothers, Carl and Jim Panetti. She is survived by her two children, Nick D. Parise and wife, Linda, of Greensburg, and Phyllis Marks and husband, Robert, of Monroe Township, N.J.; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Frances Panetti, of Greensburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Mary from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, 724-837-0020. Parting prayers will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. in the St. Paul Church. Interment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery, Greensburg.
