Mark Ford

Mark S. Ford, 64, of Greensburg, died Friday, October 15, 2021 at home.  He was born November 26, 1956, in Great Lakes, IL, a son of Shelba Runyon Ford of Omaha, NE and the late Dorsey Ford.  Mark was a retired Officer for the Westmoreland County Park Police.  Mark’s two children were his pride and joy…He loved being a Dad.  His love for family grew with the blessings of two grandchildren, they were the center of his world.  He loved sports and was a self-proclaimed draft pick expert.  Mark was a good cook and prepared many meals for his elderly mother-in-law.  He loved to chat with people and made friends everywhere.  He spoke up freely about his beliefs and was a big man with a loud voice who was genuinely softhearted.  In addition to his mother, Shelba Runyon Ford of Omaha, NE, his is survived by his loving and devoted wife of forty-two years, Susan M. Podgorski Ford; two children, Nathan Ford (Sarah) of Jeannette and Sarah Seranko of Greensburg; two grandchildren, George and Jordyn Seranko and his brother, Paul Ford (Norma) of Omaha, NE.  Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Mark, Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc. 409 W. Pittsburgh Street, Greensburg, PA 15601, (724) 837-0020.  A funeral service will be held Wednesday at Noon. in the funeral home with Fr.
