Marguerite found great comfort and joy in spiritual life and Catholic traditions. Everyday she paced the floor saying the rosary and read numerous prayer cards on behalf of her families’ health, safety, and salvation. The Lord was truly her shepherd. She connected to things bigger than herself by volunteering with the Crabtree Fire Department Auxiliary, the Saint Bartholomew Ladies Auxiliary, and the Saint Vincent de Paul Thrift Store. She cherished family gatherings on Sundays and holidays—the more the merrier. In all of her years, she never missed sending holiday and birthday cards to her many family members, relatives, and friends. She took great pride in baking and shared her tasty talents with family and neighbors. While raising seven children, she worked a variety of jobs to pay the bills and put food on the table. Hers was a life in service to others. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Marguerite, Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc. 409 W.
