Lucy E. Dedo , 98, of Greensburg, died Saturday, June 23, 2018. She was born Dec. 15, 1919, in Torricella, Italy, a daughter of the late Emedio and Genevieve Piccole DeMarino. She was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral and the former Rosary Confraternity and the former Columbia Ladies Lodge No. 27. Lucy worked for the former Crown Lamp Greensburg and loved making pasta for her family after church on Sundays and listening to old Italian music. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John "Jack" Dedo; two infant children; two sisters, Mary and Edith DeMarino; and a brother, Charles DeMarino. She is survived by a special niece, Joy Damico (Frank), with whom she lived for several years, and their children, who thought of her as a grandmother, Jason Damico (Danielle), of Greensburg, and their children, Lorelei, Anneliese and Connor Damico; Angela Damico Thomas (Brian), of White Oak; and several other nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Lucy from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, 724-837-0020. Parting prayers will be held in the funeral home at 1 p.m. Wednesday, followed by a funeral Mass to be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. in Blessed Sacrament Cathedral.
