Lucille Skillings

Lucille (Speed) Skillings , 83, of Irwin, died Wednesday, December 14, 2016 in the Westmoreland Manor.  She was born November 07, 1933, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Samuel and Julia VanHorn Speed.  She was a member of the Bethel A.M.E. Church in Irwin and a decorator for the former Jeannette Glass.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry "Herky" Skillings; a daughter, Shelly Skillings; and four brothers, Benny, James, Eugene and Irvin Speed; and two sisters, Patricia Heuitt and Julie Mae Williams.  Lucille is survived by her two sons, Kim Skillings and wife Tina and Dwayne Skillings, all of Greensburg; two granddaughters, Alaina Skillings of Cincinnati, OH and Amanda Skillings of Arlington, VA; a sister, Ruth Brown of Pittsburgh; and several nieces and nephews.  Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Lucille, Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc. 409 W. Pittsburgh Street, Greensburg, PA 15601, (724) 837-0020.  A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Bethel AME Church, 304 Walnut St, Irwin, PA 15642, with Rev.
