Lucille M. (Mosko) Dott, 86, of Greensburg, died Sunday, Feb. 14, 2016, in Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. She was born Aug. 30, 1929, in Hannastown, a daughter of the late Anthony and Anna Poti Mosko. Lucille was the food service manager of Bovard Elementary School, Hempfield Area School District. She was a member of St. Bartholomew Church and a member of the former St. Bede Rosary Altar Society. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Dott Sr., in 2014; two brothers, Michael and Peter Mosko; and three sisters, Grace Moffa, Mary Marsilli and Lena Marovich. She is survived by her daughter, Joanne Stearns and husband, Marshall, of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; two sons, James A. Dott Jr. and wife, Frances, and Carmen Dott and wife, Cheryl, all of Greensburg; six grandchildren, Tracey Gaskey and husband, Bart, Karen Scarton and husband, Ryan, Kristen Vassar, Kelly Byers and husband, Jason, Joshua Dott and Susan Newall and husband, Robert; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Up until the end, Lucille was a loving and active mother, grandmother and friend.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Lucille from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, 724-837-0020. Parting prayers will be held at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. Bartholomew Church with Father Justin Matro, OSB, celebrating. Interment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery, Greensburg.
