Louis James Marsili , 85, of Greensburg, died Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018, in Barnes Place, Latrobe. He was born March 21, 1932, in Forbes Road, a son of the late Alfio and Angela Coletti Marsili. Lou was a member of Blessed Sacrament Cathedral. He served in the Marine Corps during the Korean conflict and retired from Pittsburgh Plate Glass. He is survived by his wife, Carole Catherine Vargosko Marsili, whom he married Sept. 15, 1956; two sons, Dino Louis Marsili (Gina Marie) and Ricardo Stephen Marsili (Ellen Marie); five grandsons, Dominic Ricardo (Michele), Joseph Luis, Anthony Francis, Joshua Antonio and Zachary Nikolai Marsili; great-grandson, Giovanni Angelo; a sister, Gloria Medaglio-Marsili; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Lou from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, (724) 837-0020. Parting prayers will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday in the funeral home, followed at 9:30 a.m. by a funeral Mass to be celebrated in Blessed Sacrament Cathedral.
