Linda L. Barger

Linda L. (Baker) Barger, 78, of Greensburg, died Sunday, June 18, 2023 in her home surrounded by her family.  She was born March 14, 1945, in Sewickley, a daughter of the late Dorothy E. Harden Baker. Linda had been a hostess at the former Bobby Dale's Lounge prior to going into business with her husband.  They were co-owners of the former B & B Alternator and Yesterday's Lounge, both in Greensburg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, J. Daniel Barger; son, Daniel Barger; and five brothers, Isaac Iams, Richard, John, Bob and Harry Baker. She is survived by her two sons, Ron Barger (Olivia) of Medina, TN and Robert Barger (Barbara) of Blairsville; daughter-in-law, Debbie Barger of Greensburg; ten grandchildren that Linda doted on and adored, Ken Gustafson (Ellen), Tony Gustafson (Heather), Holly Shaneyfelt (Allen), Michael, Keira, Sophia, Jillian, James, Jessica and Jacob Barger; five great grandchildren, Addyson, Evan, Kaleigh, Makenzy, and Jackson,; sister, Ruth Elliot of Cleveland, OH; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Allegheny Hospice for their kindness and compassionate care towards their mother.
