Lawrence J. "Larry" Raimondo

Lawrence J. “Larry” Raimondo , 73, of Greensburg, died Thursday, April 29, 2021 in the Pittsburgh Medical VA Center.  He was born July 25, 1947, in Greensburg, a son of the late Slyvester and Lucy Martino Raimondo.  Larry was a proud Marine and was Honorably Discharged after serving during the Vietnam War.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother and beloved companion and friend for over twenty years, Gerry.  He is survived by three siblings, Ronald Raimondo (Lauren) of Latrobe, Joanne Skatell (James) of Greensburg and Mary Yazdani (Hamid) of Cary, NC; a special nephew, Brian Skatell of Greensburg; and several additional nieces and nephews.  Services were private in the Mary, Mother of Mercy Mausoleum at St. Vincent.  Interment followed in St. Vincent Cemetery, Latrobe.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Wounded Warrior Project PO Box 758516, Topeka, KS  66675.  Larry’s family has entrusted his care to the Clement L.
