Laverne (McMahon) Pavlick, 88, of Greensburg, formerly of Crabtree, peacefully passed at home, surrounded by her loving family Tuesday, November 12, 2024. She was born July 09, 1936, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Nolan McMahon. Laverne was a member of St. Bartholomew Church and loved cooking and baking for her family. After retiring from the accounting department at PPG, she worked for several years as a hostess for Rizzo's in Crabtree. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond L. Pavlick, Sr.; grandson, Joseph L. Hayden and two brothers, Jack and Joseph 'Buddy' McMahon. Laverne is survived by her son, Raymond L. Pavlick, Jr; daughter, Terri L. Hayden (James, Jr.) with whom she resided, all of Greensburg; grandsons, Ryan Hayden and Dylan Pavlick; sister, Patricia Wood of Crabtree and numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends of Laverne are invited to attend her funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Saturday November 16, 2024, in the St. Bartholomew Church, Crabtree with Fr. Justin Matro, OSB, celebrating. Everyone please go directly to the Church. Interment will follow in Calvary Hill Cemetery, Crabtree. Laverne’s family has entrusted her care to the Clement L.
