Kevin J. Kear , 64, of Greensburg, died Sunday, Jan. 3, 2021, at home. He was born Aug. 15, 1956, in North Tonowanda, N.Y., a son of Chester L. Kear, of Dubois, and the late Mae Yale Kear. Kevin worked for several years at the former Lou Dinatti's Auto Service in West Point, followed by years in construction. He loved spending time with his grandbabies. They were the love of his life. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Deborah L. Scarpo Kear; two children, Kevin R. Kear, of West Haven, Conn., and Brandon J. Kear (Maria), of North Huntingdon; two grandchildren, Cameron and Sloan Kear; his mother-in-law, Louise Scarpo, of Greensburg; and several in-laws, nieces and nephews. Many thanks to sister-in-law, Marsha Welch, and brother-in-law, Ralph Scarpo, in caring for him. Kevin held a special place in his heart for niece, Giana Welch. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Kevin from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Keeping with CDC guidelines, those attending the viewing and funeral are required to wear face masks. Because of current social distancing restrictions, only 35 people will be permitted in the funeral home at one time.
