Kenneth Blackburn

Kenneth E. Blackburn , 81, of South Greensburg, died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2021, at home. He was born Dec. 6, 1940, in Greensburg, a son of the late Eugene and Jessie Danser Blackburn. Prior to working at Seton Hill University for 30 years, he worked for Laminated Products in Greensburg. Ken cherished spending time with his family and friends and will be sadly missed by all who loved him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Gongo; brothers-in-law, Joseph Vrable Jr. and Joseph R. Harshell; in-laws, Edgar and Sophie Mclean and Charles Charley; and a nephew, Brandon Grimm. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 50 years, Patricia A. Charley Blackburn; sisters-in-law, Nancy Harshell (Wesley), of Derry, Linda Bejger (Gerald), of Mt. Pleasant, Tina DeBaun (James), of Gloucester, Va., and Tammy Vrable, of Latrobe; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Ken from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, 724-837-0020. A funeral service will follow at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Masks will be required at all times in the funeral home.
