Kathleen Mancuso

Kathleen L. (Pischke) Mancuso , 70, of Greensburg, died Friday, Jan. 11, 2019, in the Family Hospice and Palliative Care at Canterbury. She was born Jan. 9, 1949, in Lafayette, Ind., a daughter of Margaret L. Pischke Thiry, of Greensburg and the late Joseph W. Pischke. Kathleen was a member of Our Lady of Grace Church, where she had served as a former parish council member. Prior to working as a manager of the former Gloria Horn Sewing Studio in Greensburg, she had worked as an administrator at St. Vincent College in Latrobe. She loved sewing and bowling and enjoyed attending car club events. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Martin R. Thiry; and brother, Robert Pischke. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 51 years, Jack H. Mancuso; two children, Tanya Ratchford (Dr. Mark), of Ebensburg, and Matthew Mancuso (Erin), of Buffalo, N.Y.; five grandchildren, Benjamin, Alec and Olivia Ratchford and Jack and Genevieve Mancuso; three siblings, Deborah Cidboy (Robert), of New Bern, N.C., Dr. Joseph Pischke Jr. (Suzanne), of Tavernier, Fla., and Sandra MacDonald (Alex), of New Glouchester, Maine; sister-in-law, Cynthia Pischke, of Marguerite; and several nieces, nephews and in-laws. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Kathleen from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, 724-837-0020. Parting prayers will be held in the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, followed by a funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church. Interment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery.
