Julia Anna "Mickey" Gerhard , 86, of Greensburg, died Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016, in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital. She was born March 15, 1930, in Mt. Pleasant, a daughter of the late Frank and Helena Sally Anthony. Julia loved spending time with her family, working outdoors with her flowers, feeding the birds and watching the Meadows horse racing. She was previously employed as a die board repairer for Menasha. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis "Frank" S. Gerhard, on Nov. 16, 2014; a granddaughter, Christen Gerhard, in 2006; and a brother, Frank Anthony Jr. She is survived by two sons, Thomas Gerhardt (Dorothy), of Greensburg, and Robert Gerhard (Eunice), of Ruffsdale; a daughter, Sandra Huth (Art), of Mt. Pleasant; five grandchildren, Kelley Storey (John), Tom Gerhardt (Tiffany), Kalin Gerhard (Stephanie), Taylor Huth, and Cara Huth; three great-grandchildren, Faith Sever, Sophia Gerhard, and Max Gerhardt; five sisters, Margaret Holzapfel, of Greensburg, Betty Rolla, of Latrobe, Mary Troy (Albert), of Greensburg, Martha Maline, of Greensburg, and Theresa Schaeffer, of Las Vegas, Nev.; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Julia from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, (724) 837-0020. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home, with Pastor Rhea Summit officiating. Entombment will follow in St. Clair Cemetery, Greensburg.
