Julia V. Cruder, 94, of Greensburg, died Sunday, December 10, 2023 in the Hempfield Manor. She was born November 2, 1929, in Hahntown, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Samule and Mary Hegadus Vuleta. Julia was a member of the Congregation of Jehovah's Witness in Greensburg. She enjoyed developing and working with the family business; Advanced Fire Equipment Greensburg. Julia was generous to a fault, loved raising her family, caring for babies and children. She was a tolerable person, had a calming nature and was a kind one. She was artistic at heart and enjoyed designing and building stone walls, and working in her flower garden raising her irises among other flowers. She was a lover of pepsi and oreos. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Americo M. Cruder; and thirteen of her siblings. She is survived by her two children, Ronald Cruder of Greensburg and Joy Lee Marciniak-Libby of Bridgeville, DE; four grandchildren, Marla Carney, Jon Marciniak and Jana and Jared Cruder; three great grandchildren, Jackson, Benjamin and Fox Carney; sister, Patricia Benn of Hannibal, MI; and numerous nieces and nephews. Private interment will be in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Greensburg. The family would like to thank the staff at Hempfield Manor for their loving care given to Julia. The staff went above and beyond to meet her needs with kindness and compassion. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hempfield Manor, 1118 Woodward Drive, Greensburg, PA 15601.
