Joseph "Joe" Krivijanski

Joseph J. Krivijanski , 72, of Greensburg, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023.  He was born June 16, 1950, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Joseph J. and Ann Pribicin Krivijanski.  Joe is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 48 years, Ricki Pirozzi Krivijanski, and his only son Rocky, daughter-in-law Erin, and grandson Ben Krivijanski of Arlington, Virginia. He is also survived by his brother, Paul Krivijanski (Carol) of West Mifflin and several nieces and nephews.  Joe’s world was his family, and his favorite pastimes involved spending time with them in any way, shape, or form. Whether that was drinking coffee in the sunroom with Ricki, traveling to Europe with her, or taking a walk with her through the woods of Western Pennsylvania, Joe was happiest when he was with his true love. As a younger man, Joe invested his energy in coaching, cheering on, and supporting Rocky in all his endeavors, and in later years visiting Arlington to spend time with Rocky, Erin and Ben. His proudest accomplishments in life were being called husband, dad, and “poppy.”  Joe also enjoyed cheering for the Steelers, watching science fiction movies, tending to his herb garden, and dabbling in astronomy. He was a retired supervisor for Dominion Gas/People’s Natural Gas, where he worked for nearly 35 years.  Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Joe, Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc. 409 W. Pittsburgh Street, Greensburg, PA 15601, (724) 837-0020.  Prayers of transfer will be said in the funeral home Friday at 9:15 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. in the St. Vincent Basilica, Latrobe.  Interment will follow in St. Vincent Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Catholic Charities or Children International.  Joe’s family has entrusted his care to the Pantalone Funeral Home Inc., Greensburg.  For online condolences / directions, visit us at pantalone.com.
