Josephine Hood

March 13, 1924 — September 19, 2016

Josephine L. (Eannotti) Hood , 92, of Greensburg, died Monday, Sept. 19, 2016, in the Frick Area Hospital. She was born March 13, 1924, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Felice and Loretta Viola Eanotti. A well-known cook, Josephine was the owner of the former George's Pantry in Ludwick. She was a member of St. Paul Church, the Greensburg Moose and the Grange Club. She enjoyed square dancing, TV, reading the paper and puzzles. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George R. Hood; her stepson, Randy L. Hood; a grandson, Cody Fullman; and six siblings, Alice Policastro, Frank Eannotti, Genevieve Garafola, Felicia Cost, Edward Eannotti and Anna Eannotti. She is survived by three stepdaughters, Bonnie Daniels, Donna Fullman and husband, James, and Tammy Fordyce and husband, Donald, all of Southwest; five grandchildren, Clifford Daniels and wife, Amber, James Fullman and wife, Jennifer, Christopher Fullman, Jason Fordyce and wife, Ashleigh, and Jessica Fordyce; five great-grandchildren, Samantha and Jacob Daniels, Gracie Fordyce and Cassidy and Caitlyn Fullman; a brother, Anthony Eannotti, of Mt. Pleasant; a sister, Lucia Parker, of Scottdale; special nieces, Loretta Galloway and Karen Parker; and a host of nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Josephine from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, 724-837-0020. Parting prayers will be held in the funeral home 9:30 a.m. Friday, followed by a funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. Paul Church. Interment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Paul Church, 820 Carbon Road, Greensburg, PA 15601 or Clelian Heights School, 135 Clelian Heights Lane, Greensburg, PA 15601.
