Josephine M. Dimasi

Josephine M. (Corletto) Dimasi, 95, of Greensburg, died Monday, October 09, 2023, in Westmoreland Hospital after a struggle with heart failure.  She was born September 18, 1928, in Wilmerding PA., a daughter of the late Angelo and Carmella Corletto.  Prior to marrying her husband John, she worked as a teller for Mellon Bank in Wilmerding.  Her true calling was to spend most of her life as a homemaker and caring mother to her children, a role she lovingly continued right up to the time of her death.   Josephine was a member of Our Lady of Grace Church and enjoyed making floral arrangements and wreaths.  Josephine specialized in hospitality, friendship, and family and was loved deeply by family and friends alike.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Dimasi; daughter, Mary Jo Romano; and her brother, Louis Corletto.  She is survived by her two sons, Fred Dimasi and John Dimasi (Christine), all of Greensburg; and her feline companion Abby.  Services will be private.  If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to Humane Society of Westmoreland County, 139 Humane Society Rd, Greensburg, PA 15601.  Josephine’s family has entrusted her care to the Clement L.
