John Yencho , 82, of Latrobe, died Saturday, July 29, 2017, in the Greensburg Care Center. He was born Jan. 31, 1935, in Greensburg, a son of the late John and Mary Mitrik Yencho. He retired from Powerex, Youngwood. John was an active member for many years at the YMCA and served in the Army Reserves. His greatest desire was to have his family know the love and peace of Jesus Christ, as he did. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother and sister; and his brother-in-law, Joseph Raneri. He is survived by his two sisters, Helen Raneri, of Grensburg, and Margaret Miller (Tom), of Maryland; a brother, George Yencho (Charlotte), of Massachusetts; many nieces and nephews; and his special helper and niece, Joyce Casagrande. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of John from 1:30 to 3 p.m., the time of services, on Thursday, with the Rev. Mike Alfieri officiating, in the CLEMENT L.
