Joseph D. Spino

Joseph D. Spino, 83, of Greensburg and Deerfield Beach, FL, died Friday, December 06, 2024, in the Mt. View Specialty Care Center. He was born February 01, 1941, in Greensburg, a son of the late Joseph F. 'Jubers' and Cecelia R.(Daversa) Spino. Joe started his career as a barber in Greensburg before moving to State College and then Deerfield Beach, FL, retiring when he was seventy-seven years old. He was a member of Our Lady of Grace in Greensburg and also St. Ambrose Church while living in Deerfield Beach, FL. He was a member of the Moose Lodge # 2157 and the American Legion Post 162. Joe was an avid hunter of both big and small game and loved fishing in lakes, fly fishing in streams and enjoyed deep sea fishing as well. He loved travelling, cruising, playing Bingo and listening and dancing to the oldies. He is survived by his two children, Joseph D. Spino (fiance Ruth 'Twiggy' Rentz) and Theresa Krunszyinsky (James) of Greensburg; four grandchildren, Aaron Krunszyinsky (Emily), Laura Vitolo (Vincent) and Aubrey and Jacob Krunszyinsky; two great grandchildren, Mia and Dominic Vitolo; siblings, Annette Poole of Hunker, Marian Spino and Guy Spino (Marion), all of Greensburg; several nieces and nephews and many friends in Greensburg and Florida. Relatives and friends of Joe will be received Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc. 409 W. Pittsburgh Street, Greensburg, PA 15601, (724) 837-0020. Prayers of transfer will be said in the funeral home Friday at 9:30 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, Greensburg.
