John Wright, Jr.

John E. Wright Jr. , 73, of Greensburg, died Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2018, at home. He was born July 22, 1945, in Latrobe, a son of the late John Ellsworth Wright Sr. and Helen Lohr Wright. John was a retired vice president of claims for Old Republic Insurance, Greensburg. He was a graduate of Gettysburg College, where he was a proud member of the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity. He was also very active with the West Point Little League, where he was an umpire and was at one time in charge of the field maintenance. He is survived by his two children, Jamie Puckett, of Lexington, Ky., and John E. Wright III, of Greensburg; two grandchildren, Grace and Benjamin Puckett; sister, Carole Kinard of Bridgeport, W.Va.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
