John R. Bistline, Jr.

John R. Bistline, Jr., 55, of Greensburg, died Friday, January 31, 2025. He was born April 30, 1969, in Philadelphia. He had been employed by Verizon as a Fios Internet installer in Pittsburgh; John enjoyed listening to all kinds of music but loved Bon Jovi and hard rock. He was a Philadelphia sports fan and was looking forward to the upcoming Super Bowl game. He enjoyed fishing, playing billiards and video games and was a faithful member of his AA group. John loved watching a good sunrise or sunset and was a kind and gentle soul who was faithful and good to his children, his Mom and God. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Raymond F. Cooper. He is survived by his mother, Patricia A. McFadden Cooper of Greensburg; six children, John R. Bistline, III (Briana) of Latrobe, Briana Bistline (fiance, Ivy Lenhart), Michael Bistline (Kate), Grace Bistline (fiance, Ricky Fisher), all of Greensburg and Christina and Michelle Bistline, both of Latrobe and their mother, Melanie Bistline of Latrobe; sister, Donna Marie Geltzer (Larry) of Greensburg and his beloved cats, Simba and Cheeto. Relatives and friends of John will be received Saturday in the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc. 409 W.
