James F. Moore , 77, of Annandale, Va., died Tuesday, April 10, 2018. He was born March 1, 1941, in Greensburg, a son of the late Dr. Edward J. and Mary C. Lucas Moore. Prior to working for the Army Dept. of Defense at the Pentagon as a program analyst, James had retired from the Navy after serving in Vietnam. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John E. Moore; and a nephew, Edward J. Moore II. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 52 years, Sandra F. Moore; his son, Christopher J. Moore, of Annandale, Va.; his daughter-in-law, Mona Moore; three granddaughters, Asmaa, Arwa and Alaa Moore; his sister, Mary E. Moore, of Moorestown, N.J.; and numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of James from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, 724-837-0020. Parting prayers will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral Mass to be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Cathedral. Interment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery, Greensburg.
