James Martino

James A. Martino , 58, of Greensburg, died Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2022. He was born Feb. 29, 1964, in Greensburg, a son of Martha A. Zelinsky Martino, of Greensburg, and the late James Martino, who died in 2014. Jim was a supervisor for ABB Hitachi Energy, Mt. Pleasant. He was a member of the Youngwood Sportsman and enjoyed hunting and skeet shooting. He was also a collector of sports cars and Harley motorcycles and an avid cyclist. He frequently attended car shows and bike rallies. His joy of eating took him all over Westmoreland County every four years for his "free Leap Year" birthday meals and he enjoyed countless barbeques, picnics and holiday meals with his family and friends. He is survived by his loving mother, Martha A. Zelinsky Martino, of South Greensburg; his two devoted sisters, Christine Gannon (John) and Diane Gerard (Dean), all of Greensburg; beloved nephew, Matthew Gannon; adored nieces, Olivia and Claire Gerard; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Jim from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, 724-837-0020. Parting prayers will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral Mass to be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Cathedral.
