James ‘JuJu’ J. DiPrimio, Jr., 89, of Greensburg, died Saturday, June 22, 2024 in the St. Anne Home. He was born February 28, 1935, in Greensburg, a son of the late James J. DiPrimio, Sr. and Theresa Mazzaferro DiPrimio. Jim was a member of St. Paul's Church in Greensburg. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army National Guard and he retired from GenCorp in Jeannette. He was a fireman with Greensburg Hose Co. #6 and an avid outdoorsman until he took on the role of caretaker for his beloved wife Elaine. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Elaine Catherine Leonard DiPrimio, sisters-in-law, Nancy and Angeline DiPrimio, and son-in-law, Allen Salensky. He is survived by his three children, Pamela Salensky and James DiPrimio (Barbara) both of Greensburg, and Anna Marie Bigi (Jeffrey) of Hunker; four grandchildren, Rick Salensky (Julie), Angie Sumey (Robert), Cassie Dye (Mark), and Nicole Newcomer (Josh); five great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; brothers, Peter and Eugene DiPrimio; and several nieces and nephews. As per James’ wishes all services will be private. Interment was in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice. The family would like to thank St. Anne’s, especially the floor nurses and aides of David’s Garden for their exceptional and compassionate care to James.
