Ida Marino Donkin

Ida (Galetti) Marino Donkin, 102, of Greensburg, died Friday, June 10, 2022, at Westmoreland Manor. She was born Oct. 9, 1919, in Export; a daughter of the late Carlo Galetti and Felica Asti Galetti. Ida was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who spent her entire life nurturing and caring for her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Daniel A. Marino Sr.; her second husband, William A. Donkin II; a daughter, Nancy Sirgey; and a son, Daniel A. Marino Jr.; two brothers, Ralph and Raymond Galetti; and three sisters, Helen Salatka, Anna Marinelli and Jenny Castle. She is survived by her two sons, Ron Marino and Jim, and Robert Marino and wife, Dawn, all of Greensburg; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Ida from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2022, in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, 724-837-0020. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
