Frances J. Dott

Frances J. Dott, 72, of Greensburg, died Monday, April 08, 2024, in the Redstone Highlands - Greensburg.   She was born October 08, 1951, in Bovard, a daughter of Helen Yencho Raneri and the late Joseph Raneri.  Fran was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and a woman of faith. She lived every minute of her life for her family. After years of working as a paraprofessional for Hempfield School District, she retired without hesitation to watch her five grandsons. She enjoyed the simple things in life; going out to eat with her family, cheering for her grandsons at their sporting events, and watching Pirate games on her back porch.  In addition to her mother, she is survived by her loving and devoted husband of fifty-one years, James A. Dott, Jr.; daughters, Tracey Gaskey (Bart) of Greensburg and Karen Scarton (Ryan) of Latrobe; five grandchildren, Vincent and Aaron Gaskey, twins, Marco and Anthony and Dominic Scarton; five sisters, her twin, Mary Kay Neurohr (fiancé, Art Gardner)   of Jeannette, Joyce Casagrande (Rich) of Greensburg, Rosemarie Moffa (David) of FL, Sandy DeFrancesco (Charles) of Latrobe and Jennine Raneri of Greensburg; brother-in-law, Carmen Dott (Cheryl) of Greensburg; sister-in-law, Joanne Stearns (Marshall) of FL; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Fran, Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc. 409 W. Pittsburgh Street, Greensburg, PA 15601, (724) 837-0020.  A funeral Mass will be held Friday at 10:00 a.m. in the St. Bartholomew Church, Crabtree, with Fr.
