Florence Hiznaneck

Florence P. (Mangione) Hiznaneck , 89, of Greensburg, died Friday, Aug. 12, 2016, in St. Anne Home. She was born Sept. 21, 1926, in Bovard, a daughter of the late Louis and Sabina Trapani Mangione. She was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral and the Disabled Veterans Auxiliary. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph F. Hiznaneck; a son, Joseph M. Hiznaneck; a grandson, Michael Mudry; three sisters, Sarah Mignogna, Millie Bihon and Mary Fragapane; and a brother, Joseph Mangione. She is survived by her son, Stephen Hiznaneck and wife, Lynn, of Johnstown; a daughter in law, Mary Ellen Hiznaneck of Greensburg; three granddaughters, Michelle Keenan, Caroline Boughton and husband, Jeremy, and Catherine Hiznaneck; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Rose Dominick, of Latrobe; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Florence from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, 724-837-0020. Parting prayers will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home, followed by a funeral Mass to be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. in the Blessed Sacrament Cathedral.
