Flora M. (Moffa) Fannerella, 83, of Greensburg, died Friday, April 12, 2024, in the St. Anne Home. She was born June 29, 1940, in Greensburg, a daughter of the late Joseph N. and Antoinette Spino Moffa. She was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, their Rosary Altar Society, and the Cercemaggiore Association. In addition to working at the former Grant's, she had also been employed as a pharmacy technician at Thomas Drug Store and a local Avon Lady. After her husband retired, she went on to work as a server at the Hampton Inn in Greensburg. Her greatest joy and passion was being a “stay at home mom” for her children. She loved caring for her grandchildren and enjoyed being the neighborhood babysitter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Frank Fannerella who died in 2009. She is survived by her two children, Kenneth Fannerella (Kelly), and Janice Knight (David), all of Greensburg; four grandchildren, Rocco and Gianna Fannerella and Sean and Brennan Knight; sister, Patty Fry of Greensburg; sister-in-law, Josephine Fannerella of Greensburg and numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Flora, Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc. 409 W. Pittsburgh Street, Greensburg, PA 15601, (724) 837-0020. Prayers of transfer will be said in the funeral home Tuesday 9:30 a.m., followed by a funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. in the Our Lady of Grace Church, Greensburg. Entombment will follow in Greensburg Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum.
