Eunice M. (Gumbs) Quist , 67, of Greensburg, died Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2016, at home. She was born Oct. 20, 1949, in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, a daughter of the late Raymond and Anna Marie Aubain Gumbs. She was a clerk for the former Car Quest in Greensburg and a member of Blessed Sacrament Cathedral, the Ladies Auxiliary of Hose Company No. 2 and the Corvette Ladies Bowling League. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth Weimer; and two brothers, Raymond and Francis Gumbs. She is survived by her husband, David Quist; two daughters, Elena Giesey and husband, Travis, of Irwin, and Katie Frick and husband, Todd, of Greensburg; six grandchildren, Kyle and Claudia Giesey, Tyler Hammock, Nicholas Weimer, Autumn Younkin and Shelby Frick; an "adopted" granddaughter, Tori; three sisters, Patsy Gumbs, of Houston, Texas, Lisa Norton, of Melbourne, Fla., and Kathleen Manning, of Irwin; a brother-in-law, Larry Randolph Jr. and wife, Cindy, of Greensburg; a sister-in-law, Deborah Samulski, of Jeannette; numerous nieces and nephews; and her three cats, Yoda, Bootsie and Whiskers. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate the life of Eunice from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the CLEMENT L. PANTALONE FUNERAL HOME INC., 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, 724-837-0020.
